The machine connects to any 380-440-volt 3-phase mains supply. It can be used for gas-cooled MIG/MAG welding, and It accepts a wide range of filler wire diameters from 0.8 to 1.6 mm.The power source also supports carbon arc gouging* in both 400 and 500 amperage models.

The MIG/MAG process has been carefully tuned at Kemppi welding lab to give the welding arc an outstanding stability. This makes the arc easy to manage and minimizes the amount of spatter.

The arc stability and weld quality are easily achieved also with inexpensive C02 shielding gas. With less spatter, the time needed for post-weld grinding is reduced, and the welders can focus entirely on

Wire Feeder

The X3 power source is designed to be used with the wire feed unit

To connect the wire feeder unit to the power source, complete the following steps：

1.Attach the wire feed unit power cable to the (Positive)+

connector of the X3 power

source. Hand tighten the connector with a clockwise push and twist action to lock.

2.Attach the wire feed unit control cable plug to the control socket of the power source.

3.Connect the shielding gas hose to the gas bottle or to the shielding gas distribution

Gas : Recommed 80%Ar+20%CO2 but 100%CO2 will be ok

Can be move from 6:00-12:00 Clockwise or Anti-Clockwise

What the welding speed?

3-4 times faster than manual welding as usual,the larger the diameter,the faster the welding speed.

How without track a particular line/shape of weld can be controlled?

We can ensure a particular line if the center of the pipe is parallel to the center of the car,by using remote control to control Weaving, Travel Speed, Torch Up Down and To/fro etc. Magnetic absorption is basically no deviation, if there a little deviation, the remote control can adjust the telescopic arm to back to original the position.

What if there is a coating ?

No problem if coating ≤0.5mm

Prepared a easy track rail if ≥0.5mm

The track rail width 30cm,thickness ≥ 2mm

The track rail inside diameter is equal to the outside diameter of pipe.No track rail is needed if there is bevel/ pipe edge 300mm at least one side open area (bare)
